Recoleta and Palermo; MALBA museum, Japanese Gardens, Evita, et al

Spent today walking, saw a lot, my dogs are barkin! Hung out in the Recoleta neighborhood. beautiful parks, embassies, the nicest homes.

Began at the Buenos Aires Latin America contemporary art museum, The MALBA, where Bloomberg sponsors a permanent collection, allowing me free entrance, had I brought my work ID. Oops.

And then it was on to the Japanese Gardens, which were very pretty, with lots of big, mean fish swimming in Carp Lake.

Then it was onto the Cementario de la Recoleta, where Eva Peron is “buried.” Sorry folks, they moved her body, no one knows exactly where. The cemetery was beautiful, neoclassical art nouveau.
